I'm very excited to show you my prize from a contest at Running With Ollie! A few weeks ago, she had a giveaway for a medal hanger from Allied Medal Displays. I was so surprised and happy when she sent me the message that I won! I was able to pick from one of the great medal holders the company sells. Ironically, I had just bought my husband one as a gift for running his first marathon, and I thought that someday I would like to get one too.
Here is the one I chose:
I chose it because along the way on my journey, both with running and weight loss, I have had to use more brain power at times than physical strength. In order to be strong, I had to believe it first. I also want to continue my weight loss, and finish strong when I get to my goal weight, and maintain that weight for the rest of my life.
Yesterday, my husband hung my medal holder next to his. I love it! I can't wait to continue filling it with BLING!
